Conseco Fieldhouse
The Conseco Fieldhouse is a unique stadium in Indiana that opened in November 1999. The stadium is home to the Indiana Pacers basketball team. Basketball is a big sport in Indiana with a lot of fans following the Pacers. So, when they decided to build this stadium the designers made sure it was a true reflection of basketball and the roots of the game.
When they built the Conseco Fieldhouse many features were included to make it a unique arena. There are many cases of memorabilia that fans can check out, a Gran Staircase that allows patrons to view the seating bowl and beautiful glass curtain walls that show off the Indianapolis skyline when lit up. There is a great feel of nostalgia in the stadium that is reflected in the concession stands, sponsor pavilions, the scoreboard and the roll-out bleachers. This stadium really reflects the city’s passion for basketball and it has even been referred to as the “Camden Yards of basketball”. With 69 suites, 2,400 club seats and state of the art amenities, it’s like no other stadium around. The Conseco Fieldhouse also hosts the Indiana Fever women’s basketball team and the Indiana Ice hockey team. It’s also used for major boxing events and concerts by today’s top performers.
